Infrastructure

Our production process of absorbent cotton wool involves the following procedures:

• The virgin raw cotton is opened and fed into the Vertical Opener
• The cotton is loosened and foreign materials like leaf bits, stems, seeds etc., are removed
• The cotton is then steam boiled in the presence of Caustic Soda, Hydrogen Peroxide, Organic Stabilizer and some auxiliary chemicals
• This process removes the natural waxes and other oils from the cotton, by which the cotton attains softness, absorbency and whiteness
• The wet cotton is dried in a sequence of machines like Hydroextractor, Wet Cotton Opener and Chamber Drier
• The dried bleached cotton is passed through the full line of Blow Room Machine and Carding Machines to obtain a thin web
• The web obtained from the carding machines are rolled and cut to sizes
• The Absorbent Cotton Rolls are packed in a primary poly bag and then in a shipper.

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing unit is well equipped with latest and sophisticated machinery. We have integrated the Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in our production facility that enhances our production capacity of 60 tons per month. All the equipments installed in this unit are custom designed to meet the stringent quality norms. Our main infrastructure is well constructed and designed as per the GMP norms and standards.

The overall production and packing are undertaken in controlled and hygiene environment. For maintenance of building & machinery, safety & good house keeping, Standard Operating Procedures have been formulated and followed by us.

The different units in our infrastructure include:

• Backup Power Unit
• Water Softener
• Steam Boiler
• Mechanical and Electrical Workshop

Besides, we have a separate packing area, and clean & hygienic working area. We have even incorporated a full-fledged effluent treatment plant for cleaning of discharge water that can be used for irrigating and gardening purpose.
